Outstanding protection for your iPhone

I was looking for a replacement for my existing Otterbox that was over three years old and was looking worn. One year ago it protected my iPhone when I accidentally dropped it in the road while I was on holiday. Two hours later I realised that I had lost my phone so I back tracked and found it in the road, facedown with tyre tracks on the back. Apart from scratches to the plastic case caused by the road surface the iphone was unharmed and the case survived. If you have an active life and your phone needs protection, the Otterbox is the answer. I was also grateful for the video from Mobile Fun warning of fake Otterboxes.

I changed my Love Mei case for a Otterbox defender as the Love Mei case was heavy but extremely protective. this otterbox defender looks equally up to the job of protection but at about half the weight.
only thing I miss about the love Mei case is the easy access mute button. the otterbox has a plug that you flip down to get to the mute slide switch and you need a tiny finger to access the switch. my manly fingers struggle a bit. buying from Mobile fun gave me the confidence that I was not buying a fake as there are a lot of fakes on Amazon. buyer beware.

Instructions could be better, but quickly figured out what needed to be done. The only tense, butt clenching, moment was when trying to open the case, as always afraid something will break off, but phew! nothing did. Love the proper screen that's incorporated in the case. much better than those sticky screens that never go on properly and leave bubbles you can't get rid of.

Having read various reviews regarding Otterbox and having had an Otterbox for my iPad for several years, I took the plunge. This is a great phone cover especially given I spend much of my time on site, I know that it will protect it from the rough and tumble of daily life, and i am also really impressed that the functionality of the phone is not affected. A little tricky to switch to silent mode due to the splash proof cover, but worth the effort knowing that the phone is safely tucked inside!

I was in the market for a tough case and I knew otterbox was a very reliable brand and I wasn't wrong this case gives you very very good drop protection and dust protection. Also you have access to all ports which are covered also a screen protector is built in so no need for an additional one.
